Canadian violinist Jennifer Burford eagerly searches for new musical experiences
to develop her versatility as a musician. Whether it be as a soloist, a chamber
musician, a section leader in orchestra, a collaborator on jazz artists’ albums, or the
only classically trained member of a klezmer band, she meets every challenge with
an organic combination of natural creative instincts and skilled execution.

Jennifer is in great demand as a violin teacher. Her students range in age from children as young as 3 years old to adults. She is a member of the faculty at the JCC Miles Nadal Suzuki Program and the North York Suzuki School, where she currently holds the position of String Coordinator. Jennifer also teaches privately from her home, offering preparation for RCM examination and various music festivals in the Toronto area. Her teaching style readily adapts to the needs of the individual student. She is equally comfortable teaching young children and teenagers, having held a teaching position at Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts.
