DESCRIPTION:The Queer Songbook Orchestra\, in partnership with the Canadian Lesbian and Gay Archives\, is a 12-piece chamber pop ensemble\, creating and performing a living archive of songs that have shaped the LGBTQ community. Focusing for this performance on songs with a connection to the closet – those held close during closeted times alongside those written by closeted writers – the orchestra play all new arrangements by some of Canada’s top talents.
